Okay everyone. The comic con is behind me so I’m gonna be moving full steam ahead in getting back on schedule with the regular weekly updates. I apologize for slacking off this past couple of weeks. I will have an update this week, I promise. I should have it up on Wednesday. The comic con was great and I had a really good time. Thanks to everyone who came out and bought books and said hi. I”ll have a longer blog post about the Comic Con experience later in the week. Thanks again for reading guys. And check back in a couple days for the latest update. Take Care.

Hey everyone, as some of you know, I was set up at the Albany Comic Con this past weekend and a couple of you were able to make it out to the show and see me.:) It was my first convention experience as a webcomicker, and overall it went pretty well. I had a fairly good response to the comic and sold quite a few of the limited edition ashcan previews as well as over half of my Mini Bear Magnets. I wish I had sold them all, but that is being a bit unrealistic. As popular as webcomics are becoming, they still really aren’t mainstream, especially at your basic comic con.

Most people have never heard of you or your comic, and your basically trying to get people to take a chance on purchasing something from someone they’ve never heard of, rather than spend their money on the variant back issue of Tiny Teen Titans instead. That being said, I had quite a few people stop by my booth and move along, however they all returned to buy a comic. I’d say about 10 to 12. That gave me encouragement that my comic or myself had made a strong enough impression the first time through, that they had stopped back to make a purchase.

Anyways, it was a fun experience and met some other nice webcomickers, and hopefully can do a few more next year, and maybe a few more of you guys can make it out to see me somewhere.

But wait, there is more! I am holding a contest, with prizes! What type of contest? What type of prizes? I’m holding a Bear VS. Zombies Fan Art contest!! Show your appreciation and love for BVZ by creating some Fan Art for me to hang on my Fridge! What can you win? The top two entries will win a sweet BVZ package! The grand prize winner will get a “Viva La Roar” T-Shirt, a signed BVZ #0 Limited Edition ashcan comic a Mini Bear Magnet, as well as an original piece of Bear VS. Zombies artwork! The first place winner will get everything but the original artwork. (Still a pretty good deal if you ask me )

What do you have to do?  You have until December 7th to come come with the most original and awesomely creative piece of BVZ fan Art and email it to me at the email address found on the contact page. The only stipulation is, that it has to have a Bear VS. Zombies character in the artwork, it can’t just be zombies. Sorry guys. I”ll be picking the top two entries and posting some of my other favorites on the website.

I’m also working on getting back to twice a week updates, but we will see how it goes. Thanks for all of your support guys, and I look forward to your entries.

Hey guys, just a quick post to remind you about the fan art contest that I am running. Just figured I would refresh everyone’s memory with a photo of the prizes for the top two winners.

The grand prize winner gets the original cover art from the BVZ #0 limited edition ashcan comic as well as a T Shirt, a copy of the limited edition comic and Mini Bear Magnet. The second place winner gets everything but the original art piece. The T-Shirt sizes available are Medium, Large and X-Large,

All you have to do is send me an awesome and creative piece of BVZ fan art that includes at least one BVZ character. You can include zombies, but it can’t just be zombies. It has to have a character from the Bear VS. Zombies universe.

After all entries have been received, I will choose my top two favorites and post them on the website along with a link to your own webcomic if you have one. Or I can link to a DeviantArt profile if you’d like. And then I”ll send you your goodies. I will also be posting some of my other favorites on the site as well. I”ll probably just make a fan art page, that way I can post everyone’s art that enters.
